This Privacy Policy intents to set out how  VRC Meat Med LTD(“VRC”, “we” ,“us” or ,“our”)  5, Arch. Kyprianou Avgoulla 22, Office 101, 6016 Larnaca, uses and protects your private data based on the EU Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), that came into effect on the 25th of May 2018.

VRC is committed in ensuring that your privacy is protected and secured under the EU Data Protection Regulation EE/2016/679. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure your personal information collected from time to time in electronic or paper format in compliance with this privacy policy and the relevant GDPR regulation and laws. VRC will never collect any unnecessary personal data from you and will not process your information in any way, other than our collaboration requirements.

When a change is needed to protect your privacy or security, we will notify you prior it takes place so that you have time to review the changes before they are effective. The type and level of personal information collected on electronic or paper format depends on VRC’s relation and collaboration with other party’s (e.g. customer, supplier, transporter, freight forwarder, credit controller, employee, agent, IT, service provider, auditor, inspector, applicant, etc); including but not limited to all offline and online data collections of all personal details.

DATA TRANSFER AND/OR STORAGE

VRC Meatmed Ltd is based in Cyprus so your data will be processed in the Republic of Cyprus and the EU. Some of the recipients we have described above and to whom we disclose your personal information, are based outside Cyprus and the EU in places like China, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, Serbia etc. We do this on the basis of your consent to this policy. In order to protect your information, we take care where possible to work with subcontractors, service providers, business partners, affiliates and professional advisers who we believe maintain an acceptable standard of data security compliance.

DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal information both in electronic and/or paper files for as long as is necessary based on the applicable laws, depending on the category of your data and purpose for collecting it. We have strict reviews and retention policies in place to meet these obligations in both cases stated above.

  • Inactive data, collected in regards to customer relationship are deleted within the period of 18 months.
  • Marketing and analytical data based on Google Analytics are deleted within 26 months.
  • Personal data will be treated in compliance with privacy laws and regulations. After the end of the data retention period, your personal data will be deleted
